Andrea Kirkham-Hopgood is a Melbourne-based artist who creates light-filled explorations of the landscape.
Using oil on canvas, Andrea works from her own photographs to capture vignettes of the natural world. The work varies in scale from tiny mantle panels to large-scale pieces. Her evocative paintings explore colour and atmosphere whilst adhering to formal oil painting techniques.
Andrea has a Bachelor of Education in Art and Craft. She seasons her art practice with teaching, facilitating workshops, demonstrations and judging.
